Quick and Easy Natural Cleaning with Norwex

This summer a friend of mine hosted a Norwex party on Facebook. When I was at my Challenge training, I had seen their primary product, the EnviroCloth, in action, and I was impressed. I've cleaned a few horrible white boards in my day, and this cloth made it look easy. While I knew that there was more that Norwex had to offer, I really just thought I'd go order one of those cool cloths to help out my friend's party, and be done with it. Yeah. That plan failed.

I'm excited today to share with you my favorite cleaning products, and introduce you to my sweet friend, Michele, that can help you transition your family to natural cleaning methods. We have a great giveaway to share with you today, so keep reading until the end!

5 Norwex Products We Use Daily

I'm not a big fan of cleaning. I don't want to spend time on it, but I do want my home to be clean. These five products have revolutionized the way we keep our house clean. The best part is that all you need is water! I can send my kids off to clean knowing that I'm not giving them any harmful chemicals to clean with. Because it's so simple, we find ourselves more willing to do the work. That makes me happy.

{1} EnviroCloth $17 - This microfiber cloth is good for cleaning EVERYTHING! All you do is get it wet, wring it out, and wipe down whatever you'd like to clean. I was super skeptical about cleaning everything with one cloth, but this video about cross contamination was very impressive. I also thought that my disinfectant wipes were a good tool for quick cleaning until I saw this. We use this cloth to clean every day (at least my kids do)! After you clean, you rinse the cloth in warm water and hang it to dry. I wash my cloth every other week. The only thing I really don't clean with my EnviroCloth is food messes. I'll tell you what I use in a sec.

Quick pause for a price comparison: We used to buy a three pack of disinfectant wipes every other month. That three pack cost me around $13. If I have to buy that six times a year, I'm spending $78 a year on disposable wipes! That's crazy. My one EnviroCloth will last a couple of years.

{2} Window Cloth $19 - The window cloth is an amazing polishing cloth. Instead of needing greasy chemicals that leave an eternal residue, all I do is use this cloth to polish glass, windows, or stainless steel. It even can clean the greasiest messes I've ever seen. After my daughter cleaned the glass french doors in our home with a window cloth, she remarked, "We've been cleaning under our potential!" She couldn't believe how well it worked.

{3} Dish Cloth $10.50 - This is what I use in the sink to work on dishes. It's a mesh cloth that works great for scrubbing pots and pans without scratching them. When it gets super dirty, I boil it with a little Norwex detergent to clean it back up. It's wonderful!

{4} Kitchen Cloth $11 - There is nothing better than watching my husband clean up the kitchen at night with the kitchen cloth. He loves this thing. This cloth has grooves in it that helps it pick up all the crumbs and food bits, but also helps the cloth let go of them. You don't want to use your EnviroCloth here because it will cling to everything it picks up. I love that we're not blowing through paper towels anymore either. Good for our budget, and good for the environment.

{5} Hand Towels $19 - These hand towels have been amazing in the bathroom. You take the power of the EnviroCloth and put it in a towel, and it's brilliant. We have so many people coming through our bathroom every day. I love knowing that we're fighting the spread of germs when kids wash their hands and use the towels to dry them off. No bacteria is festering here. They also soak up a ton of water, so they're not super wet after a few people have passed through.

Those are just the products we use every day. There is so much more that we love, and you'll want it all, which can be overwhelming.

Get Free Stuff Hosting a Party

The best way to get started with natural cleaning with Norwex is to host a party. I hosted one on Facebook, which was super easy, and I ended up getting a ton of free stuff. Everything in this picture to be exact:

I'd love it if you scheduled a party with my friend Michele. Invite me! I'd totally come and have fun talking Norwex with you!

Here's some tips for hosting a great Facebook party:

  • Personally invite and get your guests there during party time. Text, FB personal message, email, call, ask in person….each person you think would LOVE these products. I recommend inviting 40-50 people because statistically 10-15% will be able to "be there" during party time. Tell them a little bit about the party and why you can’t wait to show them the products you’ve discovered, and then ask if they would like an invite to your private Facebook party
  • Interact with your guests before, during, and after the party! THIS IS KEY!
  • Don’t add anyone unless you’ve asked them first. You don’t want to spam your friends since they will be getting notifications when the consultant posts. Plus, you’ll find a greater number of people “attend” when you have a dialogue going with them.
