Flourish Winter Wonderland Art eCourse
My girls and I were recently introduced to Alisha Gratehouse of Flourish and her Art eCourses. We giggled and crafted our way through the Art of Fall and created so many wonderful creations! Secretly I had my eye on the Winter Wonderland because I love everything Christmas and Snowmen!Disclosure: I received this art course free in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are mine. Winter Wonderland Art eCourse
My family learned so much about mixed media art from our time working with the projects in the The Art of Fall: Mixed Media Workshop for Kids. These projects do not simply help you and your family create beautiful works of art, but they also build confidence and cultivate skills as you work through the lessons.
Each project has a video to watch that walks step by step through twenty projects. Even though they are all mixed media projects, the diversity among the creations keeps everyone engaged and learning. My girls love watching Alisha demonstrate. She is entertaining and humble, while very knowledgeable and talented. Surprisingly she has drawn out the artist in me again! I actually enjoy creating with my girls.
Variety of Projects
My daughter looked through the four weeks of projects and highlighted her favorites. So many of these projects could be used as gifts for family and friends. Here are some of the ones we are most excited about:
- Creating new mixed media projects including snowmen and Christmas trees
- Water coloring wreaths on Christmas carols from Hymnals
- Making Hymnal wreaths to hang on our wall
- Painting mini canvas ornaments to hang on our tree
- Sculpting birds and penguins that could be unique and beautiful ornaments
- Doodling snowflakes in our art journals
Our First Piece
We started in on the snowman project because we all thought it was so cute. I wish I could capture the giddy giggles that fill my home when these projects come out. Many of the materials are similar to what we purchased for our last art eCourse, so we didn't need anything new. One of our favorite lessons we learned in the The Art of Fall was that you can adjust these projects according to the materials you have. We didn't have any new canvases, or really any new place to hang these on the wall, so we went out to the garage to ask their dad for some wood to paint on. He willingly shared some scraps, and we are so excited about our finished pieces!
Where to Purchase:
The Winter Wonderland Art eCourse is on sale through November 30th for $48. After that, it will go up to the regular price of $60. Click on the image below to check out more details on this great course and buy it for your winter break entertainment!
