Live Online Latin Classes!
Am I dreaming? Live Latin classes online?
Join Andy for live Latin classes for the 25'-26' school year. We will be meeting for an hour weekly for 15 weeks each semester. Multiple classes are offered, ranging from Henle 1 to Henle 3. Check out our different course offerings below. Instructions for registration are at the bottom of the page.
I can't wait to join you on your Latin journey!
Nota Bene: Space is limited so register soon!

Class Options:

Henle 1: Building a Strong Foundation
Mondays @10am OR Tuesdays @ 10am (CST)
The goal of this class is to give you a firm grasp of the concepts presented in Henle 1 Latin, while also providing accountability and community on your Latin journey.
In this class, we'll have fun learning the foundations of Latin, such as:
- The noun declensions,
- Verbs and their conjugations
- Sentence diagramming
- The 4 principal parts and why they are important
- And more!
Henle 2: Adventuring Caesar's World
Tuesdays @ 1pm (CST)
As you might know, one of the most important figures in Roman history was Julius Caesar, a master strategist and military leader who conquered most of the known European world for the Roman Empire. In this year of Latin learning, we will learn intermediate Latin concepts, such as:
- subjunctive forms, including passive subjunctive
- deponent verbs: the sneaky spy verbs
- how to use the 4th principal part: the perfect participle passive
- noun constructions

Henle 3: Exploring Roman Thought
Tuesdays @ 3pm (CST)
Henle 3 Latin is an exciting adventure into the rhetoric of Latin. While in previous years, you learned about the military battles of Caesar and his conquest of the known world, now you will travel into the debates and politics behind it all that shaped the Roman Empire from the inside out.
Specifically, we'll be looking at the man named Cicero, a legendary philosopher and politician. Together, we'll translate his debates and learn interesting things about the Roman world as we go!

FAQ:
What if I miss a class?
Classes will be recorded and posted on Rooted Minds under the "Class Recordings" tab. If you aren't able to join at class time, you are welcome to participate using the recording.
What is your refund policy?
Full refunds are not possible, so please prayerfully consider the choice before paying. If something comes up and you are not able to attend the class live you have purchased, please consider doing the class using the class recordings.
If you need to withdraw, the tuition may be refunded. The part of the payment that is the "registration fee" is not refundable. That portion is $80 if you paid for a full year or $50 if you paid for one semester. No refunds are made after the first week of the class.
What will class look like?
Class will begin with joyful connection, whether that be an icebreaker, or fun memories from the week. Though we plan to jump right in to Latin, creating joyful connection is essential to shepherding an atmosphere of learning.
Next we will talk through the week's concepts, working through confusion as needed, and working on practice exercises together.
Finally, we will leave some space for questions, and I will give instruction on the upcoming weeks work. A detailed "syllabus" will be provided closer to the start of class, but I also will assess the students weekly and potentially make changes to plan as is needed for the best learning experience!
