My youngest has always struggled sleeping well. Frequently we find her in our room after nightmares wake her and rob her of sweet dreams. The pillow arrived at my house on March 19, the very day that my sister and her four daughters were in a horrible car accident. I got the phone call to go to the hospital, and I left my three children with my mother to go find my nieces, and hopefully my sister to see their condition. One of my youngest's greatest fears had been realized. Auntie Amy didn't make it. My four nieces and nephew were now without their mother. How do you sleep after that?

I talked to my kids from the hospital that night and encouraged them that we were not to fear bad things happening, because we have a good God, and He is worthy of our trust.
