100 Days with Jesus – A Review
Recently, I've been meeting with my oldest daughter to talk about God's Word together. It's been such a neat time to connect with her as she shifts into adulthood. As we began talking, we both realized that spending consistent time in the Bible is challenging. That consistency was something my dad encouraged relentlessly. His theory was that if you got someone to read God's Word consistently for six weeks, God would change their heart, and you could just sit and admire the transformation.
I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review. See my full disclosure policy for more information.
100 Days of Beholding Jesus
Sometimes getting started is the hardest part. A book like 100 Days with Jesus: A Daily Glimpse into the Person of Christ by Diann Cotton is a simple yet effective tool for connecting daily with the Lord. This beautiful little hard back book guides readers through 100 names of Christ, their meanings, and a responsive prayer.
With full color images to enhance the devotional aspect of the book, readers are thoughtfully guided through a contemplation of the names of Jesus.
I love how each name is introduced with the verse from which we learn of a different aspect of Christ. These verses are followed with definitions of key terms that help the reader process how this name helps us get to know our Savior better.
