10 Days of Morning Time Resources
I love morning time with my family. Over the past year I've shared with you my plans for morning time last year, and how much my husband loves joining us for morning time. It has just become a beautiful part of our homeschool day. The routine of it draws us together and to the Lord in a beautiful way.
It didn't always start off that way. We've always spent time in the Word together and reading great books, but the other studies together have ebbed and flowed. It really has been in the past year when I've finally thrown off the desire to plan a year's worth of morning time that we've found great success. I know it sounds crazy to not have a full out plan, but I do have a vision for our time that directs everything that is introduced into our morning studies. With that in mind, I trust the Lord to help guide my resource selections to fill our year's studies. His timing is excellent.
10 Days of Morning Time Resources
Over the next ten days, I'm going to be sharing with you some of the great resources we've used over the years. You will not be able to use it all! So don't even try!! At the end of the series, I'll be sharing with you a way to develop a vision for your own morning time. With this in place, you'll have an easier time deciding which tools to use.
Here's a preview of the topics I'll be covering over the next 10 days. Sign up to receive my weekly newsletter, and you'll get in on a free printable that's going to be available only to my subscribers.

Betsy Strauss is an unexpected homeschooler, mother of three, who is in a relationship with a sweet man for life. She loves reading books, drinking coffee, and learning anything with her kids.
I would apply this $ to our Classical Conversations tuition and fun back to school supplies!
Yay! Sounds like a great way to spend it!
What a great series this will be! I look forward to seeing the details as our mornings rarely start off right :/
I’m not a morning person, so this has really helped me! Hope you enjoy!
I am excited about this series. Struggling with our morning routine.
I hope you’re encouraged! Thanks for stopping by.
I have started Basket Time with my kids, but it rarely happens in the morning! Looking forward to some great tips!
Ohhhh I’m going to look through those resources. Morning and I have a love/hate relationship 🙂
We haven’t always done our morning time in the morning for that very reason!

Betsy, I totally agree! Morning time was SO special for us, and I loved having my husband join us. It was a highlight of our homeschooling days. I’m looking forward to the rest of your series! ????
I have heard about morning time but have not tried it in our home. I look forward to hearing your ideas.
Betsy, this is going to be such a great series, thanks for including me – if I were magically given $150 I would spend it on art supplies and beloved books that we could add to our homeschool library. After having homeschooled for my than 15 years, there still never enough books, especially the classics LOL!! Can’t wait to see the next 9 days!! God Bless 🙂
I’m looking forward to reading this series. I am glad I found your Betsy! If I would win the $150.00 I would purchase art supplies, science kits and classical books. It would be a wonderful blessing!
Betsy, thank you for putting all of this together. I am still in my planning mode for our morning time this year. I am trying not to plan too grand, but still enough to include the dreams the Holy Spirit has placed on my heart for our family. Thanks for making my job so much easier and enjoyable!
I’m so excited to hear what you come up with! You inspire me too!
