Inspired By My Friend and her Scripture Art Coloring Book
Today I have the pleasure of gushing over one of my sweet friends, Shari Henson. She is the creative genius behind Hey Hello Design and someone who inspires me with her artistic ability and small business wisdom. Her latest creation is a beautiful Scripture Art Coloring book that I'm excited to be giving away! More on that in a minute.
I met Shari last year when she joined our Classical Conversations homeschool group. She has two of the cutest little boys, and she would come to the book club I hosted. I've loved getting to know her family.
I have no shame in telling you that I'm constantly checking out Shari's work to gain inspiration. She has such an amazing eye for design, but I'm fully in love with her lettering art.
One of my favorite things that I recently stumbled across on her blog was this incredible lettered art mural. Wow! It's incredible isn't it?!
It combines all things I love: family, books and hope. Shari's heart for the Lord is expressed in everything she does.
I've loved watching her transition from a photographer to focus more on her design work. While she is a brilliant photographer, what makes her lettering so special is that it truly flows from what God has put on her heart.
Scripture Art Coloring Book
Shari's latest creation is one I'm super excited about. She's put her beautiful art work in to coloring book form so that we can join her in the creative process. This PDF download scripture art coloring book is great for adults and children. There are four verses and designs with the option of a script text or a print text.
The beauty of coloring scripture is that there is an opportunity for dwelling on the word of the Lord while you play with color and design.
I printed the designs on cardstock because my daughters love coloring with markers. Then I trimmed the 8.5" x 11" paper to fit an 8" x 10" frame I had on the wall, and framed the art. Now we have personalized art inspiration hanging in our school room!
Shari has generously donated a free copy of the coloring book for me to give away to one of my lucky readers. Enter below to win!
Betsy Strauss is an unexpected homeschooler, mother of three, who is in a relationship with a sweet man for life. She loves reading books, drinking coffee, and learning anything with her kids.
I love the 1 John 4:10
I love the coloring book! It is a beautiful way to memorize scripture!
What a great idea! Love it!
“Let all that you do be done in love” – LOVE IT!
Beautiful! What a great thing to color during our read aloud time!
I like the “My Grace is sufficient for you…” print. Beautiful items!
My favorite is that this doubles as copy work for my little. I can imagine us sitting together working on handwriting skills and I can enjoy the beautiful artwork.
