Chris Tomlin CD – Adore

I love Christmas music.  The songs set a mood of remembering the birth of Christ.  Sometimes I find myself getting lost in songs that celebrate the season and totally miss the reason.  I'm always thankful for artists like Chris Tomlin and his new CD "Adore" that call their listeners to worship.

Chris Tomlin CD - Adore

Songs:

1. He Shall Reign Forevermore
2. Adore
3. Midnight Clear (Love Song)
4. Noel featuring Lauren Daigle
5. Hymn Of Joy
6. Silent Night featuring Kristyn Getty
7. What Child Is This? featuring Sons & Daughters
8. It's Christmas
9. A King Like This
10. Bethlehem
11. A Christmas Alleluia featuring Lauren Daigle & Leslie Jordan of All Sons & Daughters

I love the balance of classic Christmas songs that I love and a mix of new original songs to add to my list of favorites. Chris Tomlin's albums always deliver a wonderful worship experience, and even though this one has a Christmas theme, it still delivers beautiful songs to help lead your family to worship.

By mixing in other artists like Kristyn Getty, Lauren Daigle, and All Sons & Daughters, the whole CD is a beautiful playlist that will be playing in our home all season long.

Currently, my family's new favorite up-and-coming artist is Lauren Daigle.  We were so excited to hear that she's featured in this album.  Check out a song that will be on repeat for me this season...she has such a powerful voice:

O Little Town of Bethlehem and O Come Emmanuel! I can’t pick just one!

I think my favorite is O Come Emmanuel! My husband has an arrangement of it that he plays on the guitar where you can almost feel like you’re riding a camel down the road to go see the king 🙂

My favorite is “Mary, Did You Know,” because it reveals so much more about Jesus than most Christmas Carols–kissing the Face of God is mind-blowing, especially if you’ve kissed the face of your own newborn.

My favorite is Joy to the World

Favorite Christmas song? How could I possibly choose? I love so many of them!
One of my favorites growing up was the 12 Days of Christmas. One year our class did a skit with it! It was a blast!

What a fun memory! I think that is why so many Christmas songs hold such a sweet place in our hearts.

Have always loved Mary Did You Know. Can’t help but wonder what it must have been like to be the mother of Christ.
